A humble servant's heart!
Sokhorn has the heart of a servant. Together with his family, he lives among the poorest of the poor in Battambang, in the northwestern province of Cambodia. Even though by Western standards they lack many things in life, he knows that he and his family are where God wants them to be.
Touched by the poverty of people around them, and especially of children who often suffers the most under such challenging conditions, he and his wife wanted to make a difference. Together, they started by providing care and food to the AIDS-infected orphans and to the people in the surrounding villages.
"I really understand the situation of the Khmer families... their poor backgrounds, their challenging living conditions and their lack of education," he says quietly.
Through his faithful work over the years, families have received help with their children's education, as well as good guidance and advice, and encouragement through basic Bible teaching.
